I love coloring books! Even as an adult, I find coloring to be very calming. And for kids, coloring books are a great way to encourage creativity - and I like that no electricity is required, and they're portable. :)
We are big fans of coloring around here, with my youngest stepdaughter especially. She can sit and color in silence for so long concentrating all of her energy on what she is coloring. It's kind of amazing.

My middle child loves to color and will literally color for an hour... I love how her imagination works

How fun! My toddler would LOVE a personalized coloring book, she absolutely loves to color!
